چکیده
Infrared thermography is a non-invasive and accessible tool that maps the surface temperature of body. This technology particularly useful for diabetic foot disorders, since it facilitates identification higher risk patients by frequent monitoring therefore limits incidence disabling conditions. The aim this work to provide methodology explore entire plantar aspects both feet, based on infrared thermography, assessment anomalies. A was established identify areas track their progress via longitudinal monitoring. standard morphological model extracted from group healthy subjects, nine females 13 males, spatial image registration. can be taken as template asymmetry, even in cases which partial amputations or deformations are present. pixel-wise comparison patterns carried out Wilcoxon´s matched-pairs test using corresponding template. For all left compared contralateral foot, right one, providing map statistically significant variation, within template, among subjects at different time points. In female case, main variability were boundaries whereas male, addition this, substantial changes exhibited clear pattern observed. fast simple provided used personalized medical diagnosis affected disorders.

Introduction:We evaluated the performance of muscle perfusion scan (MPS) to assess muscle perfusion reserve (MPR) for prediction of incident diabetic foot ulcerations (DFU). Methods: We recruited 41 diabetic patients without any history of DFU. Five mCi 99mTc-MIBI was injected intravenously during repetitive dorsal and plantar right foot flexions. T...
